Evans Children's Academy
The 2010-2011 season opener for the Evans Children’s
Academy of Performing Arts will be Disney’s “Jungle Book Kids” on September
23 through the 26th. We are excited that Kelli Graves will be directing this
performance since she trained with Nick Sweet during the past season. Nick
had to return to Texas to help care for his father, but said he has enjoyed
working with the children of the area and looks forward to returning in the
future. We are proud that Kelli is studying theatre at NOC and will bring
her perspectives to this stage play. Lori May will again be the
choreographer and Vicki Graves will be the Vocal Director. Ponca City is
fortunate to have the support of Pat Evans to give the area children an
opportunity to explore their musical and acting talents. The community has
been blessed with an incredible pool of talent and it is gratifying to see
these kids improve show after show, season after season. Again, this has all
been possible because of the generosity of Pat Evans. When you see Pat be
sure and thank her for her support.
